Restoration work is a 3-phase highly extensive process to revive, refresh & restrengthen your roof, to last you years once more. This process consists of phase 1 high pressure washing your roof, to ensure gutters are flowing, tile water courses are unblocked eliminating mould & dirt buildup, & a fresh surface for phase 2 to start on.

Phase 2 consists of full repairs of any sorts undertaken to revive structural integrity & prepare it for its final process of painting & transforming its look, from a sad broken worn out roof, into a strong healthy roof to protect the rest of your home & ensure phase 3 can be completed with consistent & professional application to give the best result possible.

Phase 3 consists of painting/sealing your roof tiles, ridge capping, gable ends & barge capping ends. Following through with this phase ensures overall strength to the surface of everything on the roof, giving all sections of your roof extra life & strength from all weather types, animals & pests outside.

We use a 3-layer system to ensure long lasting life to your roof tiles, ridge tiles & mortar, using a hard resin roof membrane water-based paint. We use IRC paint to provide an affordable & reliable service with outstanding results every time. 

The 3-layer system consists of using platinum primer for the first layer waiting 30 minuets to dry, to then apply layer 2 of platinum colouring paint waiting 1 hour to dry, then applying a final layer of paint to ensure strength to paint layers and tiles. This method ensures water sealing protection to the surface of the roof itself. To finalise we do finishing touches to areas at risk of over spray, even if they are masked up for protection to ensure every inch is protected to the best of our physical ability. 

Valley replacements consist of removing tiles from either side of your valley area to be able to remove old valley irons & fit new valley irons in, then putting removed tiles back in the correct order & replacing any broken tiles within the valley. We secure valley irons with waterproof screws & install storm sealing rather than cementing between the valley iron & tile gap itself. Cementing valley/tile gaps results in faster erosion of the valley iron & is not an Australian standard anymore. Storm sealing which is optional allows your roof to ventilate better & keeps all the nasty & annoying things out of your roof. Storm sealing also lives up to its name while keeping weather out like water & leaves in high winds, and keeps tiles secure in place due to its sticky adhesive its soaked in.
